3/4 cup pudding rice
3 cups milk (replace 1/2 cup with cream)
1/2 cup sugar
1/4 tsp cinamnon
pinch salt
TB golden syrup /TB treacle/ handful of raisins (optional)
2 TB diced/melted butter (optional)
Rinse rice in cold water
Put in lightly greased slow cooker
Add remaining ingredients except for butter
Stir to combine
Sprinkle butter over
Cover and cook on HIGH for 2 1/2 - 3 hours (until rice has absorbed liquid)
Turn off when still a little 'runny'
